BUILDING NARRATION SKILLS
One Picture at a Time
Spring 2022 Live Class with Lynne Moore

Does your student struggle with narration? Does he have trouble “making movies in his head” when he reads? If so, then he may have a processing delay in concept imagery that negatively impacts his reading comprehension.

Building Narration Skills One Picture at a Time is taught by Lynne Moore, a specialist in Dyslexia and reading comprehension. Lynne has been tutoring children with these difficulties for many years. You can learn more about Lynne and her credentials here.

Our own Amy Bodkin, Special Needs Consultant, refers students to Lynne for private tutoring all the time. Due to Lynne’s very long waiting list for tutoring services, we have created this Parent Training class to help YOU learn how to help your child.

Lynne Moore - Dyslexia and Reading Comprehension Tutor

CLASS DESCRIPTION FROM LYNNE:

This class will teach you how to improve your child’s ability to “see” what they are reading for improved comprehension and narration. Creating images in your mind as you read, often referred to as “making movies in your head,” is incredibly important for comprehension. Without that ability, a student will struggle. This class will show you, the parent, how to use science-backed strategies to increase a student’s ability to envision what they read.
