What did Charlotte do?
The information in each Form Guide is based on Charlotte Mason’s own curriculum
Developed from Charlotte Mason’s original curriculum, the PNEU Programmes
- We researched more than 10 years’ worth of PNEU Programmes to create the Form Guides!
- What did Charlotte assign for each subject? What books did she use? How was each subject taught? Now you’ll know. Every subject is explained in detail.
- How often was a subject taught each week? How many minutes were scheduled for each subject? Each Form Guide includes scheduling information taken directly from the PNEU Time-tables for your use.
Rooted in Charlotte Mason’s 20 Principles
- At CMP, we always use Charlotte Mason’s Principles as our primary guide in every instance, especially the principle that “Children are born persons.”
- The guidance and suggestions in each Form Guide respect Charlotte’s maxim to “Always adapt the curriculum to the child.. never the child to the curriculum.”
- We help you apply Charlotte’s Principles in your own homeschool in a way that honors your family and each child’s individual needs.

DON’T SPEND ANOTHER DAY WITH A CURRICULUM THAT DOESN’T FIT YOUR FAMILY
We only have a limited time to give our children the education they deserve.
One-size-fits-most (cookie-cutter) curricula can’t meet the individual needs of every family.
Every child deserves a curriculum that helps them thrive.
An Education that Honors Each Individual Child
Give your child an education that respects their personhood.
An education that is nurturing and joyful.
An education that honors your child’s unique gifts.
The question is not “How much does the youth know?” when he has finished his education, but rather, “How much does he care?” And about how many orders of things does he care? In fact, how large is the room in which he finds his feet set? And, therefore, how full is the life he has before him?

I purchased the Charlotte Mason Your Way Form 2 Guide.
I was hesitant because money is tight, and it didn’t look very big. I worried it wouldn’t be enough because I’m so new to Charlotte Mason.
Deciding to try it anyway was the best decision I made all month! It’s a goldilocks packet. Just right.
Even if you are very new, haven’t finished reading the books, and want just a hint of handholding this guide is for you. If you are knowledgeable and want a handy reference and worksheets this is great too. All together it took about 90 minutes to go from paying to having my first two weeks planned out, but I broke it up into short chunks. 20 minutes to download, print, read materials twice, and fill out survey. 15 minutes to quiz my son and partner and combine totals. Then I created a spreadsheet (instructions not included), printed enough copies for the week, and laminated the important pages from the Form Guide. 15 minutes. 40 minutes to gather all my extra information, decide on a colour code, and fill out my first 2 weeks. Then I let my son decorate it with stickers. Easy peasy.
Thank you so much!

This guide is simply amazing. I have the Form 1 Guide and the AVA Guide. It’s laid out with easy categories, explanations to guide you on each subject, a way to prioritize what’s important to you and your child, how to implement the subjects and how much time to spend on the ones you choose. It is also suitable for all faith backgrounds. The last part was extremely important to me as I am Jewish and most Charlotte Mason guides are difficult for people of different faith backgrounds or even secular. Anyone could use this. This also shows how to make sure you have joy in each day so you and your children don’t burn out. That is so valuable because we have had this happen before using Charlotte Mason. Its rough to go through. I fully recommend buying this guide.

Thank you Rachel for making what can seem like an overwhelming task of planning a Charlotte Mason education so simple. I love your guides and they have given me the confidence and knowledge that I need to successfully implement CM’s ideas and methods with my children!

The timing couldn’t be better. I found CM Plenary on IG and I went straight to watch the videos on YouTube. Rachel and Amy were talking about Homeschooling kids with Special needs and my tears came down. I was feeling so overwhelmed at the moment trying to make the correct decision. You may know the feeling.
Amy explaining just exactly how I was feeling and they both explained Charlotte Mason’s method so effortlessly. Amy is an expert by profession, a Mom with 2 special needs kids, well knowledgeable of the CM method, and have lived the experience herself as an Adult autistic.
Rachel a homeschool veteran, has created these amazing CM guides and along with the Special Needs Developmental guide was exactly what we were looking for. But wait, We requested our Consultation and we were stunned. Such an amazing perspective and answers to our questions about how to Homeschool our Son, and why he behaved in a certain way. Diagnosis and Information that No other Providers (including a Neurologist) were able to point it out and talk to us about it.
It is all about the child and how unique and special they are, and how we don’t have to force them into an educational shoe box. Another very important aspect is how confident you will feel that you are doing the right thing for your child, that you are capable to do it (if you are new at homeschooling as I am), and how less stressful the CM Plenary guides will make it.
In one a few words, they are a Blessing…!!

I am really enjoying these Form Guides. I love that you can seriously make them “Your Way”! You can use your own religious text or something else. The Form Guide is easy to understand and Rachel is there for any questions. 😊

I purchased the Pre-K/K, Form 1, and Form 2 curriculum guides and they’re great! The descriptions are easy to follow and I feel able to create a Charlotte Mason homeschool for my family.
I also had a special needs consult with Amy Bodkin and I must say I wish I had done so WAY sooner. I learned so much about my kids and their needs. I was given detailed instruction of how to tackle this school year. Amy was VERY thorough and left no stone unturned. I loved working with her so very much that I’ve hired her to be our permanent homeschool consultant and evaluator! Thank you for aiding me in helping my children.
We’re looking forward to a very wonderful school year.

I’ve always wanted to use Charlotte Mason’s methods in our homeschool but I’ve never been able to figure out how. This year, I decided to seek out and read her books, and was surprised to find a new edition of 2 of the volumes that was annotated by Rachel Lebowitz. I was so excited that I ordered both right away and that led me down a rabbit trail that led me to the CM Plenary website, and it was here that I found the wonderful Form Guides! I’ve purchased and printed out Forms 1, 2 and 3 as well as the guide for Special Needs. They are wonderful! I love the idea of parent and children ranking each subject and then tailoring your schedule according to the score. I’m looking forward to the coming year!

Excellent. Well laid out and helpful for planning.

I am so excited for the Preschool and Kindergarten Guide! Thank you for simplifying things in a way that is meaningful, and so that we can begin implementing CM with our littles!

I’m new to Charlotte Mason and was feeling stressed and overwhelmed by where to start. I found Rachel’s Form Guide and after previewing it, felt so relieved! It simplified everything I was trying to navigate on the other sites. I did not hesitate to purchase the full Form Guide. Instead of the overwhelming frustration and confusion I had, I found myself getting really excited about planning our year! I followed the three steps and was able to easily choose our books and make a schedule! Thank you so much, Rachel!!

I have another CM Planning guide that I tried to use, and although it is very thorough, it is so intense and overwhelming, so I didn’t use it. I’ve been trying to implement the whole Charlotte mason feast with my 6 year old this year and it has been a wonderful year! But – we never seem to be able to do it all. I purchased and read through the form 1 guide, then went back through and thoughtfully recreated our schedule. This empowered me to SIMPLIFY, to do the essentials and add a bit of joy subjects into each day, leaving more space than I had. As we master this we can add in more. I especially appreciate the labeling of left and right brain subjects so I can alternate them! Thank you for creating this guide that is so simple and approachable!

All of my planning issues have now been solved with this guide! I was besides myself until now! I have clarity now of how to make a CM school fit my family! Thank you 100 times over!

I purchased both Form 1 and Form 2 Curriculum Guides and I LOVE them. I love being able to easily click to see exactly what books Ms Mason used and not needing to go search for it on my own. The descriptions are so easy to understand and will be so helpful to me to quickly create my own schedule for my children. Thank you for another great product!!!
