I’m new to [homeschooling] and was feeling stressed and overwhelmed by where to start. I found Rachel’s Form Guide and after previewing it, I felt so relieved! It simplified everything I was trying to navigate on the other sites. I did not hesitate to purchase the full Form Guide. Instead of the overwhelming frustration and confusion I had, I found myself getting really excited about planning our year! I followed the three steps and was able to easily choose our books and make a schedule! Thank you so much!! ~Brittany

I purchased both Form 1 and Form 2 Curriculum Guides and I LOVE them. I love being able to easily click to see exactly what books Ms Mason used and not needing to go search for it on my own. The descriptions are so easy to understand and will be so helpful to me to quickly create my own schedule for my children. Thank you for another great product!!! ~Kristy

The Form 2 Planning Guide was/is more helpful than I thought it would be. I mean this as a compliment, because I’m a very independent learner and like to figure stuff out on my own (plus I’m stubborn 😄) but it actually made many things clear for me.

The “quiz”/rating system was helpful in putting things down in an organized way, and gave me a way to talk to my husband about how he would rate the importance of different subjects in the education of our children (I just used one of the student columns for his responses). It’s also important to consider how the kids would rate each one, as you plan your schedule.

The resources in the planning guide are wonderful and very accessible as they are listed right within each subject’s description. There are MANY resources listed on both the Plenary and Ani Ve-Ami websites, but having them in the planning guide was great! And there are some I have not seen elsewhere – like the Zmirot website, something I have been looking for!

The designation of Essential subject, Other or Joy subjects was also helpful, as there are so many things to fit into a schedule, it’s important to prioritize. We didn’t always agree with CM’s ratings but that doesn’t matter, we gave it our own! That really helped me in making our weekly schedules, to make sure the important things are covered often enough for our family. I also appreciate the reminder to “leave out subjects if you need to”! Not an easy decision for a parent wanting to make sure our kids get the best education (which is all of us), but necessary sometimes if we are to keep education FUN and our kids motivation and spirits high.

So there you go! I hope this helps other parents and wish you all joy in your homeschooling adventures.
