My first choice for Latin in Forms 2 and 3 is Lively Latin. Start with Book 1, then move on to Book 2. Both books should last 2+ years each, so this program will overlap both Form 2 and 3. It comes with an audio option and an online option. And it’s fun!

My first choice for Latin in Forms 4 is Latin Via Ovid by Jacob Nyenhuis. This is a high school text based on the writigs of Ovid, an ancient Roman poet. This book is based on Ovid’s Metamorphosis, a primary source of classical mythology. Students will read the myths in Latin.
