- Read or listen to Chapter 2 “Children are Born Persons” in Volume 6, A Philosophy of Education (if you have time.. we know you are busy!)
- Answer the study questions below

- What do you think “Children are born persons” means?
- Does the idea that a child is a ‘born person’ change the way you think about your children? Was this a new idea to you? Did it ‘startle’ you?
- What are some ways in which you can begin to treat your child as a ‘born person’?
- List three things you plan to do in the next two weeks that will change the way you interact with your child.
