My Tek Lab
Hello, we’re Stephen and Jacky Sounders from My Tek Lab!
The idea for My TEK Lab has been our vision and dream for many years. We have been offering computer and technology classes for homeschoolers since 2014
Stephen has worked in the field of information technology since he was 15 years old when he began his career by working for an ISP while still in high school.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems from Florida Gulf Coast University and a master’s degree in Computer Information Systems from Kennesaw State University.
Over the years, Stephen has worked specifically in the web development field, managed an Information Technology department, and taught classes at Georgia Highlands College for over 6 years.
Jacky has over 10 years of experience teaching kids of all ages and a degree in early childhood education from Edison State College (now Florida South Western State College).
Over the years, Jacky has worked as an early childhood teacher and managed an after-school program.
With the perfect marriage of skills and passions, they now offer fun, interactive computer technology classes via My TEK Lab.
Stephen and Jacky currently reside in Minneola, Florida, where they homeschool their 2 daughters, Joslyn and Katelyn.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Information Systems
- Managed the Information Technology department and taught classes at Georgia Highlands College
- Homeschooling parents
